Another Media "Star" Passed

Billy Knight passed away at the tender age of 39 from a successful suicide.

"Who?" you ask?

He played basketball for UCLA and the Bruins. He committed suicide after posting a cryptic video on YouTube: https://sports.yahoo.com/former-ucl...-posting-cryptic-youtube-video-213922939.html

Several of his friends and former colleagues attempted to contact him after they saw the video, but he was gone.

I think that I'll go cuddle up with some :kitty:s. :(

Nancy Barbato passed away at the tender age of 101.

"Who?" you ask?

You might be more familiar with her late ex-husband and her two eldest children (the son also passed away a while ago) - Frank Sinatra, Sr., Frank Sinatra, Jr., and Nancy Sinatra, Jr. Yes, Nancy Sinatra, Sr. passed away last week, both of her daughters by her side. I'm going to try locating an obituary for the lady when I have the time.

Gabe Rivera passed away at the tender age of 57.

"Who?" you ask?

He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers as defensive lineman back in 1983 (roughly seven years after my family moved to Milwaukee from Pittsburgh) but had a very short career due to an automobile "incident" that left him paralyzed from the waist down (rain + alcohol + no seatbelt = tragedy.)

Here's his obituary, including a photograph: https://www.yahoo.com/sports/former-steelers-first-round-pick-gabe-rivera-dies-145002322.html

Denis Ten passed away after being stabbed multiple times. He was 25.

"Who?" you ask?

He was a rather accomplished figure skater, winning his last Olympic medal in Sochi. The last thing he did before he was stabbed was confront some males who were stealing the mirrors off his automobile, losing roughly three liters of blood in the process. Here's more about Ten: https://sports.yahoo.com/figure-skater-denis-ten-dies-knife-attack-kazakhstan-143110207.html

The offenders went from vandalism/theft all the way to murder. *shakes head*
