getting close for Thomas, old news to Aussie, and 14 hours away for me.

But hope you all hava great evening and new year.

Anything awesome anyone plans to accomplish?
 

Short term? I'm making a "luck feast".

Long term? Not sure atm.

Oh, and I'm going to "see" the new year at the same time as StevePame (I'm a few miles north of him in Milwaukee.)

Quiet night in with family and friends for me. Too cold to go out and do anything.

I saw there were people jumping in Lake Michigan up by you last night (or I guess at midnight this morning). Not for me!
 
Spent the eve as usual watching the native folks do their thing. Spent new years day helping round-up scattered sheep. Apparently they're afraid of low flying drones... oops.:oops:

As for upcoming plans, I just take each day as it comes and see where the Good Lord leads.

Spent the evening watching Hindi serials with my wife, mom-in-law, (she now controls the TV), and my sis-in-law. We had a glass of wine at midnight to toast in the new year. Boy can that 82 year old woman chug that stuff down! No big plans for the year, well maybe one, but that may spill over into the next.

Anyway, hope everything turns out well for everyone. Keep the faith!

2018 I see all these recaps online, so for this year I'll add mine.
*First helicopter ride
*Spent an entire month relaxing in bed.
*Had a lot of visits from friends and family.
*Started an exercise program.
*Met a lot of highly educated folks who helped me and gave me advice.
*2018- I lived thru it!! That makes for a great year!
