This could be posted in Jokes, plus it could happen to younger cismales:

Oh, and I 😻 double entendres!

I just got home from the store (had to pick up stuff to "break Passover"...) Anyway, it wasn't my first choice of stores, but I forgot my bus pass in my glove (therefor, my "senior moment".)

Well, I'll go to the pharmacy tomorrow (remembering to take my bus pass out of my glove or wear my jacket with the pass in the glove!)

Have you informed them? Is that what is done in the US. Here it is a chancy thing. My son forgot mobile phone in a plane, The airway never found it.

I lose things and wait for them to return...it happens all the time.

I lost weight a couple months ago.... found it!
I wish that happens to me. I was always slim and active, now I have some lower-abdomen fat, and I am bothered by it. I know it is because of lack of exercise and sitting before a computer.

Going to get the second eye done tomorrow (cataract removal.) Forgot to call for transportation (hope that my "bank" has someone pick me up afterward, or the eye surgeon won't perform said surgery or the surgical center will need to set up the return trip...)

I also need to make something to eat after said surgery, plus I need to pack my "morning" meds... Oh, and I need to have an outfit suitible for the surgical center...

Best wishes! I hope it all goes smoothly!

Hakhlamah m’hirah - a wish for a speedy recovery with a successful result.

I ditto TheLightWithin. Take your time. Don't rush back to internet. We will wait.
(might need a cataract operation myself sometime soon)
May you have an easier time getting the IV needle in than it was for me (my veins "jumped"/"collapsed"/caused no end of problems for the staff at the surgical center here.) It took around eight people to get everything in/straightened out.

What's sad was that I wasn't the most difficult client today (that award goes to a client who completely disregarded the preop instructions, and had a big breakfast before going to the surgical center for his operation! He also threw a temper tantrum that a petulant toddler could've taken notes!)

You might want to pack a light breakfast to take with you for an after surgery "treat" (I packed a small container of fresh fruit salad and a serving of low carb Greek yogurt, but your choices are much more varied than mine...)

So, seems everything is OK. Cataract operation, perhaps the easiest of all operations, took just one minute and just one small cut, before the days of laser. My father used to perform it on a go in small-town government hospitals. After operation care is essential.
