If your person is thinking of replication as theft, then mine is disagreeing. I won't try to argue about it, I'll just try to explain my view of it. Property is sacred to me, and my Master has very strong words again taking someone else's property. Where I disagree is in calling monopoly privileges granted by a government "property." I believe in obeying those laws, but I disagree with calling those privileges "property." I don't think that replicating anything is wrong in itself. It needs to be done honestly, responsibly, fairly, with courtesy, and in accordance with the law, but it is not wrong in itself, and equating it with theft looks to me like a fraudulent way to excuse and camouflage extending monopoly privileges far beyond their original stated purpose, in ways that are harmful and destructive to society.
Neither knowledge nor education is something that does not require burden and labor. It's conditioned gained, maintained, lost.
It's plane fraud and fake, plane destructive, declaring it as something that one would have an inherent right to. Such propaganda, if not done out of plane stupidy, has just the objection of destroy a system to easier take it over.
Anarchism and "liberality" are pure fictions which ignore how things come and came into existence.
Culture and knowledge-Maxism has already brought nearly all societies on the edge of functioning.
Nobody gives away hard gained for free liberal. Nobody likes his goodness to be used for own harm. Nobody lives from Manna. Nobody does labor without certain objections.
... if not either
* forced
* plane stupid
* moral evil
No doubt that most would like to gain everything they like without any labor or sacrifices, and is simply moral-shame and concern, as knowing sacrifices, goodness, that distinguishes human existence from the animal realm.
My person don't like to argue that most human actually have an animal-mind.
Poorness in all regards has causes:
* lack of moral and virtue
* lack of generosity
A thief, and to act as such is one's freedom of choice, might gain desired, but will never find happiness from his deed here in this world as well as in the next. For it's impossible to gain good from bad, and viciversa either.
The idea "I have a right", wrong view, is base of all wrongdoings.
Everybody who still might know law and order, even in common societies, beyond digital world, would know well how strict and considered, regulated, knowledge and education is tread.
No need to explain the even much more sensible "laws" in regard of knowledge and education that goes beyond means for sensuality, leading to heavens, long term happiness and highest liberation.
At least knowledge does not require only the sacrifices in advanced, it's also not for free once proper gained, since it pulls one toward it's purpose, for highest: not revoke-able to The Unbond.
There are the basic duties in relation of student-teacher, follower-priest, each securing, looking after, his own part:
“In five ways, young householder, a pupil should minister to a teacher as the South:
(i) by rising from the seat in salutation,(ii) by attending on him,(iii) by eagerness to learn,(iv) by personal service,(v) by respectful attention while receiving instructions.
“In five ways, young householder, do teachers thus ministered to as the South by their pupils, show their compassion:
(i) they train them in the best discipline,(ii) they see that they grasp their lessons well,(iii) they instruct them in the arts and sciences,(iv) they introduce them to their friends and associates,(v) they provide for their safety in every quarter.
“The teachers thus ministered to as the South by their pupils, show their compassion towards them in these five ways. Thus is the South covered by them and made safe and secure.
“In five ways, young householder, should a householder minister to ascetics and brahmans as the Zenith:
(i) by lovable deeds,(ii) by lovable words,(iii) by lovable thoughts,(iv) by keeping open house to them,(v) by supplying their material needs.
“The ascetics and brahmans thus ministered to as the Zenith by a householder show their compassion towards him in six ways:
(i) they restrain him from evil,(ii) they persuade him to do good,(iii) they love him with a kind heart,(iv) they make him hear what he has not heard,(v) they clarify what he has already heard,(vi) they point out the path to a heavenly state.
“In these six ways do ascetics and brahmans show their compassion towards a householder who ministers to them as the Zenith. Thus is the Zenith covered by him and made safe and secure.” Thus spoke the Exalted One. Sigalovada Sutta: The Discourse to Sigala
Good householder LF can now "guess" why gotten such, why possible able to take, grasp and gained a real treasure, like else can "guess" why possible annoyed or not touched, or out of being able to grasp.
No, it has neither been free given, nor can be gained for free, and it's lineage of transmission is still that pure that it can serve it's purpose for those having "trade" in rightly.
