There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio
Pretty often I see the phrase "secular vs sacred"
I see the secular IS sacred
Too many take it for granted --how sacred it is to have a secular space
Does anybody doubt how valuable this is?
A safe space where you - neither you nor anybody are put in a position of someone else's religion --which may conflict with your own -- thoroughly dominating everything.
Secular societies and secular spaces may not really feel secular enough for religious minorities.
I don't really understand the objection to secularism. How unappreciative people are to grumble about it. For what?
It is, itself, sacred to freedom of religion - freedom of conscience.
Does anybody actually doubt this? 🤔
