Recalling my father-in-law

The plane is a de Havilland Vampire, in which he did his flight training in the Fleet Air Arm, before contracting TB and being invalided out, where he began art as therapy. He had a half-built fuselage in the barn ... the video contains snips and snaps from a long and very productive life, each frame has its story ... my girls miss their maternal grandad, and now granny's gone too ...
