    The Yoga Path

Dharma is just that, a good way to live in a society. If one lives peacefully in a society, Hindu Gods are automatically pleased. Nothing more needed.

Yeah, or none. False understanding is worse than not understanding. :) Forgot to give the meaning of the terms (roundly): Yama: Non-violence, truth, not to steal, limittions in sexual relations, non-attachment. Niyama: cleanliness of body and mind, contentment, effort, study, thinking about God.

What do you personally think that Jesus taught and why does it matter now?

I do not know what Jesus taught. I have Paul's version and that of the four Gospel writers (irrespective of who wrote them). It does not matter to me whether Jesus was a historical person or not. We have our own concept of duties ('dharma') and I subscribe to them.

a). Yama (The five abstentions): Ahimsa, Satya, Asteya, Brahmacharya, Aparigraha. b). Niyama (The five "observances"): Śauca, Santosha, Tapas, Svādhyāya, Ishvara-Pranidhana. I agree with all these except Ishwara-Pranidhana (being an atheist). Do you find any problem with this? :)

If one follows Yama and Niyama (or the noble Eight-fold path), then there is no bill.

Integrate the right-hand column in the two rows (When and if possible). Too many blank lines in the left-hand column. It is nice with its changing images (and write-ups). But the font format differs. It will look more homogeneous.

    Do we need salvation?

:) I use them without any belief in them, other than as secular advice. I also use Biblical and Quranic stories in which I do not believe. I warn my Hindu co-religionists against them. Do so with my wife too. She would just switch on religious, devotional songs, astrology and feng shui programs...

    Do we need salvation?

That can be done without submission to any imaginary God and his so-called son, prophets, messengers, manifestations or mahdis. They only bring in conflicts, superstitions and falsehoods (soul, heaven, hell, end of days, judgment, salvation, Satan, Angels, etc.).

    Do we need salvation?

IMHO, God is the greatest psychological subjugation.

    Do we need salvation?

Sankara's six verses to 'Nirvana' (AtmaShaTkam , nirvANaShaTkam, Atma Shatkam - Wikipedia): "aham nirvikalpo nirākāra rupo, vibhuh vyāpya sarvatra sarvendriyanām; sadā me samatvam, na muktih, na bandhah, chidānadarupah Shivo'ham Shivo'ham." - 6 (I am formless, option-less Lord enveloping all...

    Do we need salvation?

Absolutely no need in what I believe - Sankara's Advaita (non-dual) Hinduism. All things in the universe are none other than Brahman. That does not need any salvation, since there is no other to salvage it. Sankara's six verses to 'Nirvana' (AtmaShaTkam , nirvANaShaTkam): "sadA me samatvam...

"Believing in science" - what does that mean?

Please note that the appeal for compensation has been made on 25th February, 2025; some 6 years after the start of the pandemic. There have been no such other appeals till now. That indicates and use of covid-19 in India was safe. It was given to some 1 billion people free of cost. O.K. I stop...

"Believing in science" - what does that mean?

Such a compensation is awarded by Courts, and Indian Courts are not governed by JP Morgans or Rothschilds. The Central Government said there is no such policy. But Supreme Court can decide otherwise...

    Religion of love?

Governments do give such loans. Even if the loan amount is lost, the money remains in circulation and benefits economy. After Covid, Indian government gave such loans without any guarantee. Such loans are available even now. But this would not be possible for private people.
