Maitreya Ishwara

Why would I value the questions, especially when the answer is already known?

I am puzzled as to where you're going here...

Good! Now you are showing some promise! Remember that feeling and approach things in that spirit and you will reach your goals so much quicker than following a personality.

They look like legitimate questions to me, but the second one would be hard to answer honestly without interacting with the person. To answer the first one: I believe I have only seen his website once before.

I have conversed a little with you Lunitik, and I see polar differences between what you have said, and what Maitreya Ishwara has apparently said, according to the website in his name.

Has Maitreya Ishwara heard of you, Lunitik? Have you met him?

I see nothing in this commentary that says the Dharma will be forgotten? In fact, he is discussing those that still uphold it following the Maitreya...

the length of duration for the Buddhadharma is talked about in the Mahayana schools of Buddhism and found in some of the Mahayana Sutras and Maitreya in particular is found in only one. the Pali/Theravedan Suttas do not contain any explicit mention of this phenomena or of the arising of Maitreya (though mention is made that such a being exists ibid the Mahayana Sutra.

given the narrowness and specificity of this fact i presumed a level of familiarity with the Tipitaka. my apologies.

metta,

~v
