Don;t know how I found it, but a search ended up on a Blog site, and found some interesting links on it.

Anyway, here's something for everyone's enlightened education - mediaeval plumbing. :)

    Filthy secrets of medieval toilets

A while back I actually tried to specifically research mediaeval toilet habits, but couldn't find any info - just the usual 'Roman's with a wet sponge on a stick'. So it;s nice to see the topic raised where I can see it. Er... :)

Hello, Brian, and how wonderful that the first opening topic I read on my return is about medieval toilets. I hope that suggests nothing symbolic.
    :)

Re - the symbolism: So do I! ;)

But it really was something I tried researching before. Nice to see mediaeval plumbing mentioned. :)
