lol.. Cyprus is a really a Greek state, but politically Republic of Cyprus is a country with Greek inhabitants but shhhh.. You can understand why Greek Cypriots dislike Greek mainlanders, especially when the Turks invaded and they failed to help on a massive scale. But the truth is, if they got involved they would have had Turkey to deal with too which out of all fairness they just about got out the occupation of the Ottomans with the help of the Russians, plus the British held them back from helping us with political deals Cretans sent many Cretan troops to help the Cypriots though.
