I'm off to the Birmingham Vineyard tonight, for a service/meeting, God willing.

"God has called us to build a church in one of Europe's youngest cities where the overwhelming majority of people are not following Jesus. Birmingham Vineyard exists to help people follow Jesus, live life to the full and make a difference. Our vision is to start groups, communities and congregations, where people can encounter God."

That sounds good for you. Is someone picking you up?

Are you going alone?
I went last night to Birmingham.
I went alone on the train, but met one or two people there who I know.

There was loud music from an electric guitar band. 😁
..and then a good talk from an enthusiastic, well educated speaker.
It was evangelical in nature, and we were invited to receive the Holy Spirit.
There were quite a few younger people, and we were encouraged to socialise.

It's good to meet others with faith..
..makes a change from being sedentary.. ;)

Ah yes, you seem to get some good energy from it. Do you get home late? :)

No, about 9pm..
I have a meeting in Tesco cafe today, with Age UK.
I doubt whether it will be so noisy. 🎧

It's good to have the experience, though.
I didn't see anybody with a "dog-collar"..
I'm not knocking it. If it saves a few people, then "job done".

..onwards, and upwards.
