More of a light-hearted romantic film than the typical slasher evil djinn flick, Three Thousand Years of Longing I thought was entertaining and wonderfully done much in the style of 1001 Arabian Nights tales, depicting the djinn in a positive (and correct) light as advocates of freedom, Greater Self, individuality, and positive allies of Humankind.
