We've all heard of Moreno's brainchild. What do you think? Environmentally, I say "Great!" In terms of community, "Maybe!" Socially? It doesn't take a dystopian to envision lock-down of neighborhoods as a control measure. Visas to travel from Queens to Manhattan, say. Worse, said neighborhoods could (and will) be used as laboratories for the latest in sociology experiments. Lastly, instead of one or two bad parts of town, you'll have nothing but. How? Title 8 housing deliberately disperses high-crime demographics everywhere. (And before you scream, "racist," consider: Southfield Michigan became largely black because inner city folks were trying to avoid the chaos inside Eight Mile. With the new residential serfdom, no one regardless of race, will be able to flee even if life depends on it.)
