Some of the most convoluted, heretical and truly outrageous 'mental gymnastics' ever seen may be found in the countless attempts to interpret the meaning of Daniel's 1260, 1290, 1335 and 2300 days. One of the worst offenders has to be the Seventh Day Adventist Church taking the 2300-day prophecy and making it about themselves and how they are the only "super deluxe, better than everyone, special chosen" denomination out there that God loves and cares about. What a whopper!
Thankfully, many SDAs have awoken to how utterly blasphemous this teaching is. Talk about a Great Disappointment.
Here's a thought. Instead of narcissistically making Daniel's prophecies all about the person in the mirror, how about we make it about the person that matters most? Who is that? Jesus. Yes, Jesus in the Book of Daniel. This will surely make some 'Tanakh only' folks angry that they got it so very wrong.
Let us look at some of the relevant verses:
'Time, times, and an half' is generally understood to be 1260 days...
Next verse:
There is our 1290 days. Next:
There is our 1335 days. Next:
Last but not least we now have our 2300 days.
And now for the solution. It is so simple and easy to understand, a mere child can learn it in seconds. All of the numbers are simply dates along a single timeline. That's it. Again, it all has to do with Jesus.
Note that all of the numbers use the day/year principle. There is no 'flip-flopping' between days and years to make things work as everyone else does.
Year 0: Moses and the Israelites build the 'body' of the Messiah, i.e., the Tabernacle in the Wilderness
Year 1260: The Messiah is born 1260 years later
Year 1290: The Messiah begins his ministry after 30 years
Year 1335: Jerusalem is destroyed along with the Temple around 45 years later
And there we have it. It was all about the Temple Body of Jesus. The Israelites were taking care of baby Jesus for 1260 years until he was born.
As an added bonus we discover that the Tabernacle in the Wilderness was the 'place prepared' for the Woman of the Apocalypse. More specific, it was prepared for Her Seed. Abraham's Seed:
Do you see it? The Temple Body of Jesus was 'nourished' for 1260 years! The Israelites were taking care of their Messiah the entire time.
But wait, what about the 2300 days?

Daniel 12:7 - And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Next verse:
Daniel 12:11 - And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
There is our 1290 days. Next:
Daniel 12:12 - Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
There is our 1335 days. Next:
Daniel 8:14 - And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Last but not least we now have our 2300 days.
