I feel like if subjectivism is true and someone cannot feel good or live a good life then life as a human is pointless.

Welcome to interfaith. :)

I think that as long as we are communicating with others, and care about others, then life
is not really pointless.
Maybe that is why hell exists, if we only think about how we feel.

Thanks for the welcome I disagree as an introvert hell for me is other people especially lots of other people that I do not know.

I have all kinds of meaningful problems to solve in my life. It's meaningfulness I never asked for though.

The universals I can't escape. But if there were no universals then none of us would ever be able to draw commonalities with others and life would be void of meaning and worth.

Human life is pointless if Being is subjective, yes. What would a good life look like though? You can live a subjective existence and have wealth and fame and power. Do you think there is anything beyond that?

That is true. There would be no orientation to unite universally under. It would be an existence where love, true loyalty and trust would not reach their potential between people. People would only matter in so far as they are identified socially as a citizen in society. Because who we are inside would merely be subjective- illusory to others.

That's a big if though! If it's all subjective then people would be in their own worlds, and there'd be no way of sincerely relating to people.

Everyone has to determine for themselves who is deserving, trustworthy, and what the basic character of their involvements is. Those are general universals. Without them we are mere aliens to each other. There's good, mediocre, and bad character. Afaict human nature is half selfish, and still theirs others whom are not as selfish. That's not to say that people are not unique and creative, and resourceful. We are not all the same for sure. It's just that character universals are the foundation of it all.
