There's a fairly common origin narrative many philosophies share, that goes something like this:
Before the cosmos, there was one perfect all knowing all powerful thing.
This divided itself to become all the things we see.
We're working towards reuniting to regain perfection.
My semi-playful questions are:
1. If things were so bloody perfect, why did we go and sunder in the first place?
2. If this was to learn something, then we weren't all knowing, were we?
3. If sundering was a mistake we made, we weren't perfect in the first place... but if it wasn't, why are we supposed to be pulling back together?
4. If sundering was inevitable and not our decision, then we were subject to forces beyond our control, so we can't have been the all powerful prime mover can we?
5. If we DO return to a perfect state, it'll be identical to the last one, because of perfect... so what was the point again?
