Friend struggling to make an account

I have a friend that's trying to make an account, but he isn't able to get in. At first, it was pending forever, and he said now it spam banned him.

Any advice?

The forum software's anti-spam filters are known for false positives, unfortunately. PM me their email address and I'll whitelist it.
