Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord

As I write this, Palm Sunday is next Sunday, and as you read it, Palm Sunday is just passed. We are looking at the day from different points of view, so we see different things. In years past, I had a different point of view than I do now. I used to see it as a great day of celebration. Jesus is riding into Jerusalem on a donkey as King. He is the heir of David, and it was the City of David. The children are singing hosannas and everyone is laying down palms as a cushion for his donkey’s hooves. It was a moment of triumph.
