Hello All,
The virtue/vice pairs is a very old teaching. Christian Cabalist, Raymond Lully taught the doctrine. An understanding of the virtue/vice pairs can help us overcome bad habits.
(The moon cycle is also helpful- New Moon.)
The vices do have a purpose in bringing in the virtues. The elemental beings reinforce both good and bad habits, they are indifferent to morality.
