In case you're visiting here from overthere, during a general upgrade of the Chronicles site, I have inadvertently crippled the forum.

Now in touch with tech support. I sincerely hope that the forum is recoverable.

Figured it out - the database backup I uploaded to the site had the wrong file name. I change the titles to show the date, and the site didn't like that.

A really big PHEW!

I don't know what you have done to the Chronicle website (perhaps you are changing it as we speak) but it seems I can no longer login. It lets me login first, then when I click on a post I become a guest, hence cannot reply. Thought you might like to know. Might be happening to other people too.

OK - I just changed the cookie name - that should hopefully do it. See if that works.
