don't get me wrong, i completely understand what you mean, but to me, there is no pride that is "ok". we can boast about God, but no one really does that anymore. take me for instance, and bear with me, please! if my son gets straight A's at school, should i be proud of him? to me, no. because to me, all they teach in school are lies. math, science, etc. check this.

Oh . . . by "spontaneity" I didn't mean "do what you like" but "to be natural in doing what you do."For example, if we're asked to be nice to each other, we shouldn't do it just because we're following rules or trying to impress someone. We should do it because that's what we'd naturally do. We do it because we want to do it and because we feel like doing it. ie. Spontaneous compassion and love.If love and compassion were things we did naturally and spontaneously, that would be the ideal. It would be like what happens in the natural world. A flower opens up when the right reason comes . . . A call of nature. :)

If you look to far ahead... For the future obstacles... You're going to miss that one right under your nose, trip and fall.. Do you get where I am coming from? (Cause I sure don't...)

Sure for you... There is this being that has a promise of a better place for you, but you still need to get on and live in this world... Where you are for reals.... You know... OK let's talk about jesus a moment.. Some say he is god... Some say he is the son of god... Overall most will agree he is important... If he is so important and divine and only worried about heaven and so on and so forth... Why the hell did he get a job as a carpenter?

1. It's a job.... He would have learnt an understanding/trade/education for.
2. Carpenter...... It is a form of art... But, your god makes better art in heaven and Earth right? So why bother?

Art, has -nothing- to do with "so and so" can do it better... It is individual and soaked with character and the touch of that particular artist...

There is, without doubt alot you need from school to carry on in life.... With out education you have nothing... How would you -read- your bible? How would you afford to eat and drink and sleep under shelter? Your bible alone isn't going to do that for you is it?

ok, everything you have just described is before he was baptized and annointed by the Holy Spirit. there is a "gap" before His life before becoming the Son of God. before His baptism, He was a man, just like the rest of us. can you understand that? i for one graduated top honors in my class. yes i wanted to be a marine, astronaut, high school teacher, etc. but God kept me from becoming those things to serve Him. because all those things are of this world.

there is not one artist i know that doesn't glorify himself and instead do it for God. want to know why? "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below."

Your a father right? How old is your kid(s)? Still an age where they are under your influence? You have these dreams of them being a success? Job wise/religion wise... whatever-wise..... i know for a fact when they grow up they are going to rebel because i rebelled against my dad, too. we all rebel. i don't care how righteous one thinks himself to be. and when they do, i will do just what God does, try to talk with them first, if they don't listen, i will turn my back on them and pray to God that He takes care of them because that is all i can do.

So would, you say, that you just hope that the rebellion would be a phase and they would come around to god... But, if they did not you would turn your back on your blood? See that seem's worse to me, I'd say no matter the situation family should be kept close and try and help no matter what, they are the closest link to your past, and the most likley to stick by your side in the future...

No, I mean, if we take the story he was fooled by satan.... He simply wanted a dig at god's "most outstanding" human on the Earth at that point.... You wouldn't wish that, if god knows every single thing about each and every human, he knows Job would be faithful down the line, so why bother.... Unless you wish to be boastful and show off... At the expense of others lives and others pain and misery.... Where is the good in that? It's ok for him to do that but no others? And you said all glory has to go to him... Does he deserve glory for such a disgusting act as killing jobs kids workers wife and animals and so on.... Hmmmm...
