Let us say you believe your belief, you are comfortable with your knowledge if the hereafter, G!d, Heaven, whatever, ya got this life's relation with that (sin, forgiveness, penance, whatever)

My question is...

What don't you know?
 
Without a doubt, we will be "tested" with loss of wealth .. loss of health .. and even loss of life.
In fact, the prophets had it harder than all of us. It's not easy to live a life of piety, particularly in this day and age.

Yes, but it is often in times of hardship that we are required to let go of material things and learn to rely upon God alone. It is something we have to learn, I believe.

Where I go when I am unconscious, or in deep sleep.

Where my dreams come from.

Where my fears come from.

What drives my decisions on a deep level.

Why it is, that the more I know, there is always even more to question.
 
about being tested, trials, challenges, adversity seems to help me, not harm me.

Interesting. Everything works to the best for the person who loves God?

The blessing that comes from hardship is having to become humble and ask God for rescue. I am rescued and from then on faith is knowing that God is there even in hard times and accepting life and trials as education -- as what my soul needs?

There can be someone who causes me to think: I never want to be like THAT. An arrogant person perhaps. And so that person has taught me humility.

That's it. I don't know which is the easier test .. coming into wealth .. or suffering with disease or loss of wealth, for example.

Most people can see why the latter is tough, but getting richer? That's enjoyable, isn't it?
Ah .. but we might be distracted from good deeds and become more selfish and arrogant.
G-d save us from trials that overwhelm us .. Amen

Have I disappointed those who matter the most to me?

Will I "see" the :kitty:s who preceded me/will they forgive me for what I may have done wrong to them, even through inaction?

They have forgiven you.

I quite understand. One of my greatest regrets in life is how I treated some animals, not through deliberate unkindness or neglect, but just because I didn't know -- innocent animals and innocent people too, of course.

A few years ago I put state of being in order by reconciling with people I harmed. It was necessary I did this to move forward.
