Non-Christian disciples of Jesus?

I'm a non-Christian disciple of Jesus. Are there any others here?

(later) I see that could be misunderstood as the name of a community. It isn't. It's just a description of how I see myself. I don't identify as a Christian, but I think of myself as a person who is trying to learn together with others to do what He says to do and to live the way He says to live. When I say "Jesus" I mean the one in the gospels, and not any historical Jesus.

I don’t want to disrail this thread, seeing as I am non-Christian, but not a disciple of Jesus. I would, respectfully, like to ask a question of you and this seemed like a good time and place to do so. Would that be okay? If not, I can find an alternative.

I consider myself a non theist follower of my elder brother and wayshower...I can't consider myself a disciple as to me that connotes a dedication I dont believe I have. The avatar the Christian Bible refers to as Jesus is definitely my top guru but also definitely not my only guru.

For the most part I am like a butterfly flitting thru life from shiny flower to shiny flower gathering nectar, tasting and smelling and enjoying the view...and then...oh...shiny!

I would consider myself a Christian disciple of Jesus .. but not exclusively.
Some Christians would pronounce me as a non-Christian for various reasons.
eg. the fact that I also believe in Muhammad

I was raised as a Christian by my mother, in a Christian society (UK) .. and I am
still a believer.

I can’t claim to be very dedicated myself. I get sidetracked a lot.

The avatar the Christian Bible refers to as Jesus is definitely my top guru but also definitely not my only guru.

If he’s your top guru, then you might be one of the people I was hoping to find here, for the conversation that I would like to have. Are His teachings in the gospels important to you, no matter if He’s historical or not?
