..so the Qur'an must be a conspiracy then, if Jesus is not real.. ..and all the Scriptures in the NT must be based on lies. Feel free to believe what you like, but I find it more credible, that these Scriptures are based on truth, even if they contain errors/exagerrations etc.

When you "point the finger", there are 3 fingers pointing at yourself. We all belong to the human race, and are all sinners. The main difference between people is that some recognize that, and some don't. 😑

Disrespect of religion in society .. which blasphemy fuels. I don't think that is the correct question.. A better question would be "Is usury blessed by G-d?" ..and "Why is the global financial system based on usury?" ..such studies would be discarded by Western economists .. the whole shebang...

That is what you see.. I see, that moral values affect our behaviour and hence life-style .. which in turn affects policy priorities of politicians in securing more wealth for their nation etc. Exactly .. and the disrespect of G-d in society leads to immoral values .. usury and monetary...

I think most people would accept that science based on observation/experimentation is "real" .. just as our experience of existing in this universe is "real". ..so the issue is more one of, "Does an alternative universe exist, that cannot be verified by empirical observation of this one" ? 😑

It is only relatively recent, that blasphemy laws in the West have been discarded. In the United States, blasphemy was recognized as proscribed speech well into the 20th-century. The Constitution entailed a right to articulate views on religion, but not to commit blasphemy, with the Harvard Law...

That's fine .. and some people do .. so what happens, then? ..that is not what I refer to as blasphemy. It is when people consider nakedness and fornication in public as "trivial", when our civilizations collapse, imo. ..and blasphemy is the catalyst for such degeneration. It is not whether...

Well, it is very common that people consider themselves "smarter" than their ancestors. I remember when I was a young man, poo-pooing the prudes amongst the older generation. ..but I now believe that they were not wrong .. we don't know what we've got, until it's gone. There is nothing absurd...

I didn't know that. I have met people who've had a frontal lobotomy. I don't think that "they" do that any more.
