Tis the season, Merry Christmas, Happy Yule, Happy Chanukah!

Or if you'd rather.... Happy New Year. (omg... I really.... really hope it turns out well....for all of you)

That is the bottom line, whatever your flavor preference I hope the upcoming celebrations with family and friends are everything they can be... safe travels, much love...and how about we work on this peace and compassion project some more?

Yup..and ditto.
May 2017 bloom for everyone.

Hope everyone had as wonderful a Christmas as we did. It was bloody awesome! Lots of great gifts too. I think the one I'll cherish most though, is my future daughter-in-law calling me 'Dad' for the first time. I don't have any daughters of my own, just the one son. I gotta tell you, that brought a tear to me eye. It's official, she now gets whatever the hell she wants from me. The wife got a little gift too from the California Highway Patrol for failure to keep right. That's American speak for driving on the wrong side! I got a real kick out of that. She's always poking fun at me for not wanting to drive when I'm over here. "Oh let me; I grew up here," she always boasts.

Any road, time to wrap up our stay here on the left coast. Heading to the mid Atlantic tomorrow night. Stock-up NJ. There's four coming for diner!:D

Yes, that wrong side driving is easy to fall into when ya turn corners on empty streets.

And if you guys go site seeing in DC holler and we'll have a pint...

Back in my drinking days I'd have hit the Bulldog pub running and wiped up Georgetown. These days the only pint I'm allowed is Rock Road. Got the family with me this trip though. Just going to sit back with my best mate and rest up for Fiji.

Should have seen the in-laws chug it down Christmas Eve. Both in their late 60's too. They'd have made an Aussie pub owner blush!

Without friends and family at the moment. Wish I were with my friends during this time. Hope you guys had fun, though!

This's been one of the best holiday seasons for me in a long time. Bloody damn expensive, but worth every penny. I mean, I always enjoy spending time with NJ and reliving the days of yore, but having my wife, son and future daughter-in-law in tow has made it all the more enjoyable this time round.

Alas, all good things must come to an end. We'll be heading off for the last leg of our journey this Sunday. Fiji for a couple weeks than back home. Well, gotta go. NJ's been teaching my daughter-in-law to play guitar and she wants to show off her new found skills. Have a great new year folks!
