Salvation is only thru faith and law but still to do faith you need works.

1. Are works more important than faith what is your own personal opinion.

2.Faith is believing in what you can't see and putting your works, trust, and love in it.

3.Is there anyway besides you can enter to heaven ?

4.Faith only works in the new testament ? Or in the old testament ?

5.Works but which ones for doing good, prayers, devtions, or what is the works G-d wants from you ?

Hi!

I preface my meager comments with the per usual caveat "IMO".

Salvation is only thru faith and law but still to do faith you need works.

First faith, then those forms of life which flow through the conduit: Law (effort, action initiated through desire to please) must necessarily fall short. This is the first baby step. This is us attempting to "be". This is the pole that sends electric feelers toward the sky. The next form of works is that which comes from the sky to the earth as a thunderbolt, superheating the air it travels through (to a temperature greater than the surface of the sun): "My father worketh hitherto, and I work." The contrast is like that of a zippo to a full blown fireworks display.

Hand and glove, they work together always.

2.Faith is believing in what you can't see and putting your works, trust, and love in it.

Once the conduit is established, just surrender to the fire that is surely coming. The divine fire will not be denied, it consumes all in ecstatic union. Love burns away all else. Works, trust, and virtues come easy and naturally. Overwhelming but effortless.

3.Is there anyway besides you can enter to heaven ?

Forget the conceptual understanding of heaven, Love IS heaven. It must be experienced, not thought about. Don't try (to make it to heaven), do.

4.Faith only works in the new testament ? Or in the old testament ?

Works in both, one just more heavily veiled. Once the veil is ripped away the knowing becomes automatic, living, powerful, unpredictable, wild.

5.Works but which ones for doing good, prayers, devtions, or what is the works G-d wants from you ?

I am somewhat ashamed of my answer to this one. I believe God wants me to love more, but I find that the good that I want to do, I do not. Rather, the evil that I do not want to do, this I do. My only remedy for this wretched condition is to love more. This is where I myself have fallen short. May God help me to love more, this is my heart's desire; and I believe I have the spirit when I say this is God's desire for me as well.

Someone who truly honours the First Commandment, will also have to honour the other commandments? But the First Commandment comes first?

Your logic is sound, no need for me to try and poke holes in it. Nuances could be debated but I usually don't sweat the small stuff. Not much to add here other than my opinion: “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” -- Mark 12

Faith first. We do according to who we are. The two go hand in hand.

OK.

3.Is there anyway besides you can enter to heaven ?
Only God knows that.

4.Faith only works in the new testament ? Or in the old testament ?
In both.

5.Works but which ones for doing good, prayers, devtions, or what is the works G-d wants from you ?
Love God. Love my neighbour.
