Involving "Babylon" in the Bible, specifically in Revelation. Alot of thought has been given about it, and even books such as, "The Two Babylon's", which cites Rome, and the Roman Catholic Church, as Babylon.
Then also, many have considered Hollywood as Babylon too.
However, quite a while back I began thinking of the 80's Pop song, "Everybody Have Fun Tonight, Everybody Wang-Chung Tonight!"
Where the lyrics go... "All the world is Babylon..."
And I began to realize that especially in our modern technological world those lyrics are true!
It's not merely about Rome, or the Catholic church, but about the world in these last days.
Which finds agreement with other sources, as evident...

"No matter what the case, the whore of Babylon represents everything debase, sinful, and that strays away from God. Which sounds a lot like our culture today."

The second most common belief other than he is coming back in my lifetime..

Something that will be predicted billions of times in the next 2k years.

Some traditions understand her as representing unconditional love, since she refuses no-one...
