Different problem here.
After a long hot, dry spell, the weather has dipped into the cold.
Normally, people would be firing up the central heating, but our economy is in turmoil. Now people have to decide whether they heat the house, or feed the kids. Fuel, energy and food prices are rising noticeably.
Everybody's talking about it here ... we have leaders who are making no bones about the fact that their policies are intended to make the rich richer, and punish the poor for being poor, because it's their own fault for not working hard enough.
Trees are still green, but horse-chestnuts are dying at an alarming rate, from the samples I've seen locally.
So we wear extra layers, we turn off electrical appliances when not in use, we sit under a blanket on the sofa at night ...
