Anyone following the third interstellar object flying through our solar system?

It will get as close as 1.5x the distance from the sun...no danger but so rare that all the telescopes are going to be taking a look to see what we can discover about this time capsule and its 10 million year trip across the universe.

Very interesting, especially because it is interstellar. .. observers know this because of it's 'more-flat' trajectory around the Sun. Unless it hits something in our Solar system it will pass on, out and away in to space.
I'll bet that researchers are observing the light which it omits through every kind of spectrum analytics machine that they've got in order to find out what material it is made up out of.
I wonder if it is composed of similar material to that found in our own comets and asteroids?

Observatories and telescopes are lining up to discern all they can, each offering their specific tech, filters, ability during the short window of observation we have.

Interesting metaphor our life on earth eh?

A very unusual opportunity. Most interesting.

I'm sorry, wil, but I can't understand that sentence. Please could you enlarge?

Within the small there is the larger, within the short time their.exists a long time.

I don't know how my brain works or how others brain works but I think age has a lot to do with perspective and it all makes me think as we investigate this thing that has been traveling through the universe for millions of years and we get s glimpse as it travels thru...and how we are investigating what is within...as we do here on io in earth as it is in heaven we are one. It is unique in that many of those atoms spewing off into our star system have been traveling as a unit for millions of years...and our millions of cells and trillions of atoms have coalesce into this body at this moment but they have all been traveling millions of years too....and the short time we have to investigate 3i Atlas is akin to the short time we have to investigate ourcellves....

as will we...

I think all is metaphor us.

Yes, I've been following it closely. :)

So far it's generally been pretty similar to other comets within the Solar System, though it seems to be giving off more carbon dioxide than usual. The 2nd interstellar object, 2I/Borisov, was chemically similar to other comets such as Halley's Comet. :)

Thank you, wil.
