Obvi not so inane and childish...papal encyclical on artificial intelligence, Magnifica Humanitas, the Pope frames the rapid rise of AI as a definitive crossroads for the human family:

"At the beginning of the twenty-first century, the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence thrusts a decisive choice upon humanity: to construct a new Tower of Babel, seeking a false divinity through absolute technocratic control, or to build the city in which God and humanity dwell together, where technological innovation is directed by love and placed at the service of integral human development."
