I woke up one morning in the spring of 1997 and found this piece on my home office desk in my handwriting. I had no memory of getting up ion the night and writing this, but I must have. This was before I knew of Taoism. I think this was spirit giving me a heads up on what i would experience, what was binning.

In the beginning we are born as one with the source. Pure!

As we grow and experience life, we begin to become disconnected from the source. This level of disconnection from the source is relative to how unpure our bodies become, how many fears we develop in this life, and the unfinished fears we have from our past lives.

As we continue to age and work to unravel the mysteries of the fears of our current life and the mysteries of the fears of our past lives; we begin to move back towards the source. We never truly become disconnected from the source, but we create so much interference that we no longer hear the messages being sent for us. As we begin to move back to the source, we get a sense of reconnection, because we start to sense the messages again, in ever increasing numbers.

Those of us who don't acknowledge and attempt to work through our "mysteries", don't experience this reconnection. In fact, many of us continue to move farther away from the source. We don't stay the same distance from the source, we either move towards it or we move away from it. The choice is ours.

It is never to late to begin to move towards the source. It is always there, waiting for us.

To begin movement back towards the source, you must acknowledge your own position in the universe.

Now, you must demonstrate a willingness to do the work to become "pure" again.

Recently, I went to a place near my home that I hadn't visited for a couple of years due to illness
The place was the base of a Tor*.
When I arrived the first thing I saw was a slogan in large letters saying:

DO YOU REMEMBER WHO YOU WERE BEFORE THE WORLD TOLD YOU WHO YOU WERE

your post above reminded me of this.
Cheers Craz

Craz: howdy. Is a Tor the earthworks or the building? Many people think children remember their connections to the past for a while before this lifetime imprints over it. Thanks brian

I like the contemplation...i wish to know how you chose which forum on our site to place it.
from experience, research into Taoism, and past life connections. thanks brian

This is Maiden Castle, an Iron Age hill-fort nr Dorchester in Dorset, UK. We stopped here once on a holiday trip when I was a kid, and according to my mum, I had to be dragged away. She said she's never seen me so excited by anything before, and whereas from this view, with the shadow and sunlight, it looks quite well defined, from the ground it's not so obvious ... How the heck that struck such a resonance in my Scots-Irish ancestral banks I have no idea.

You have an energetic connection you don't consciously remember. Meditate, ask and be willing to know truth. Anytime we have a strong emotional reaction to a person place or thing I believe it is past life related.. good luck.

..part of Thomas Hardy's Wessex. :)

I've never been there, but I've been to Badbury Rings, and Durdle Door, when I
was living in Bournemouth many decades ago.

Aha! My better 'arf had a sister living in Boscombe, and we've holidayed in Studland many a time.
