First unread appears to be sporadically broken

When reading some of the threads, the "Go to First Unread" doesn't appear to work correctly - it sometimes takes me to a very old post, sometimes to post 1 in the thread. Figured I'd mention it in case other folks are seeing it.

I think we've had this problem before - and this is the only forum that shows this problem. I think it has to be related to the server we're on, which has had periodic problems for some time, but I'm hesitant to move as yet, because doing so could be very disruptive.

I don't have that problem because I opted to show the latest post first, but when I post to a thread I'm now taken to the first page instead of to my post on the current page.

Hm, worse than I thought. I'll try and figure if there's soemthing in the engine room that may help.
