Help finding the source for a quote?

Thanks for the reply. I think this is a very intelligent position. Whenever it is stated that everything, without exception, is God, then a lot of fears, wants, etc. cease to be rational. So, to accept that all is God, truly accept it literally and all of the implications of that statement...

Help finding the source for a quote?

Thank you! I just read her wikipedia page. Interesting lady! I'm wondering if there is any connection between the notion in my op and the notion of everything but God being an illusion?

Help finding the source for a quote?

This is on the Wikipedia page for Jahannam: "In later centuries, Sufis did not even find it acceptable for one to ask for Heaven in the hope of meeting God or to do good in fear of Hell." However it is unsourced and seems to be quoted many places, but I can't find a source. I'd be interested...

Sufism, Rumi, Heaven, hell, universal salvation or it's irrelevance?

Sufism, Rumi, Heaven, hell, universal salvation or it's irrelevance?

Thank you. So, if we take the position of ibn Arabi, this answers all three questions neatly: 1.) Per Sufism and it's articulators like Rumi, is hell an everlasting horror where the wicked burn forever? "According to ibn Arabi, the Hell and the Heaven refer, in fact, to distance from, and...

Sufism, Rumi, Heaven, hell, universal salvation or it's irrelevance?

Thank you. It does sound like you are saying the Sufis do not teach the literal eternal hellfire version as found in some schools of Islam? Is there a specific work by a Sufi sage or other written work stating the impermanence, and/or non literal interpretation of hell?

Sufism, Rumi, Heaven, hell, universal salvation or it's irrelevance?

Per Sufism and it's articulators like Rumi, is hell an everlasting horror where the wicked burn forever? Or is universal salvation possible? Or are all of the above irrelevant because the mystic understands God in a way that transcends such notions?

What religions teach that everything is fine?

Thanks. Early philosophical Taoism was far from teaching fear and dread. Tao Te Ching, Chuang Tzu.

What religions teach that everything is fine?

Most teach that everything can be fine if you follow certain rules and/or rituals. Which ones teach that there simply is nothing to worry about, nothing to fear, no dread, no threats, no matter what?

What are the denominations of Christianity that teach that hell absolutely does not exist in any way

Thank you! What is Unity? I liked your story/ theory on Gehenna.

What are the denominations of Christianity that teach that hell absolutely does not exist in any way

What are the denominations of Christianity that teach that hell (eternal fire and brimstone) absolutely does not exist in any way, shape, or form and back this up with scripture and can give meaningful answers to explain the scriptures that seem to support hell? I'd also be interested in...
