That's right!! Satan's favourite slackers are back for a second series!!! The first episode was awe-sam!!! And I can't wait for the second one... (being aired on the 10th, tuesday.... tomorrow!)

This show just has it all.... Funny, funny people and good writers! Anyone else AT ALL? Watch this? I find it unreal how there doesn't seem to be many that know about such a freaking amazing series........

The guy who plays sock is going to be the next big thing, you can see it happening, currently you go who? Sandler and what his face... The other guy very simular... Ugh I always get them mixed up... Had to google it, Ben Stiller! Like they constantly are being set up for comedy work in big movies... This guy is the future... Kind of like a hybrid jack black... Only funny and doesn't get old.
 
I used to watch it. Haven't been watching as much television lately. It's a decent show.
 
Ah I understand, if I watched TV then there is no wai I'd be able to watch all the series I do, cause you miss one here, miss one there.... Gets delayed and so on :S I find downloading to be the most suiting option for my needs.
 
I watched the latest episode of this last night... And I twas thinking.. then I started to recall the previous episodes... Then went back to watch the one where you find out that satan really at one point did love "someone" and it doesn't take much to figure out who the someone was.... (It then gets confirmed in a later episode)

I really, really like how Satan comes across in this show... He comes across.... How would Benjamin Linus put it..... Ben?

"We're the good guys!" (ben)

:D HAZAR! And where was I, that got me thinking (maybe this shouldn't be discussed in the lounge..) That it is a good/logical idea for a spiteful god that wishes to come across as loving and merciful to have a "cleaner" [satan] All those lil ships that betray, disobey, upset and don't match up to the standards of: god. Can be swiftly dealt with and despatched by Satan and his bounty hunters sam and soc.. And that spanish kid, never remeber his name..... He is only ever in the shows to "Take one for the team"

And this defeats the "purpose" /image of satan being evil, he is actually not an opposer.. he is doing the will work of god.... Taking out the trash.... And he does it in a wickedly and cute/charming manner... lol.... And those "souls" that escape the big H town.... Who punish and are evil to those upon earth.. Who is there to clean it up? Satan.... He is giving a valid service to these mortals....... And there are many other examples in this show like when he first ever meets and explains to sam who he is, and he's all like...

"Hey, don't worry sammy, I've seen how it all works out... *casts eyes quickly up to the skies for a moment* he wins..."

And then there are the moments he shows respect (he wont enter churches lol not because he is banished(as they are earthly buildings) but because he is respecting gods space... Unlike A&E lol)

Oh and he gets "upset" when gods name is used in vain....

So to me he is portraited in this as like say an angel of death... an angel of punishment, of deliverance.... Justice? and I just really, reeally like this concept of satan.... I am still waiting... cause my spider senses are tingling.... (I tend to have a nack for these things) There is one mother of a twist coming I can feel it.....

I know right!!! But.... That is where there has to be some kinda twist....... You mean the two homosexual demons that Sam meets from the apartment block? And one dies (along with every other demon except one lol)in the rebellion agaisnt satan? Ah thinking of it.... (sorry can't remember their names!) The gay demon that dies... He goes to heaven....... CURSES! I have to go re-evaluate! No! Wait... He didn't want to fight satan!! Did he??? Only the others did! And he was the only one in the funky white suit and divine light cast upon him..... Hmmmm ;)
 
You're thinking G!d wants Satan on top down below to maintain order (in the show), as opposed to some other demon that might not have the same respect for Him?
 
Yes, I am thinking that god has appointed him that position and that satan is doing his will along with his biding and making sure god's hands are kept clean. Notice they never call him satan[adversary]... ( I don't think to my memory they have) But Devil? Sure that gets used all the time... [slanderer:- LAW]

And of course you can still see that he does indeed have love/respect for god.

Devil: Isn't Nature magnificent? Beautiful, angry, soothing, merciless. It's perfection, don't you think? Gotta give... whatshisface credit

And that is his heavy, heavy burden he carries... And I can kinda dig that... one of the first creations... At the right hand side of a supreme awesome loving being..... He then bam f's up... And makes a mistake lol... Eternity is quite some time... And to have that eating at you every second? Ouch.

It also seems that he is in constant communication with god too.....

Sam: A church? Isn't this a little too close for comfort?
Devil: Nah, me and the Big Guy have an understanding. I stay out of his house, he lets me play with his toys....

lol I love the writers of this show... Gonna share some more quotes (not sure if anyone even looks at this thread but yeah lol)

Sam: Why do you have to do that?
Devil: Well, it's kind of in my nature. You know, "Supreme Spirit of Evil" and all that?
Sam: Yeah, kind of like your nature to be an A-hole.
Devil: Oh, that's beneath you, Sam. You know names hurt

Sam: Yeah, you know, I've been thinking about that. I don't think I'm the guy who should be taking on the forces of evil.

Sam: I know you own my soul and all, but I think the world would be better off if I worked for you in a lesser capacity.
Devil: Such as?
Sam: Well.. I haven't come up with the full plan or anything. Maybe I could get the word out, you know, be a recruiter. I could start my own Satanic web site, with evil design and then have really cool devil graphics or something.
Devil: Business is booming, Sam, I don't need any help with recruiting
 
Mate.... I'ma straight up kick some one in the teeth......

TV producers or whatever are pissing me off.... Kings got canned there is a chance this gets canned..... I SWEAR!!! Before I die.... I will somehow sometime somewhere... perhaps karma... Perhaps god... Perhaps fate... Destiny, or just my funny psychotic lil mind... I will make the dude who cans this sorry.....

Why are they shutting stuff off? Is it cause of pirates like me? Is my crew become that vast? Are there so many priate ships out there now that ratings suffer cause no one bothers to pay for ****? lol....

If it isn't being canned check this....

Labine... (my boy sock!) He carrys this show... If we're honest... Well him and satan (my other boy!) But he was saying in an interview he wasn't sure if he was coming back for season 2... cause there was this other show called errr... Tucson? That he was tempted to do that.... But if he got reaper... he'd stick it.... But.... The Tucson premiere.... Whos in it? Labine.... So maybe he is leaving... and if he leaves it will be sad... I don't see how they can replace him, he's freaking awesome....

If feel then this show will take a dive as the main character (sam) isn't funny at all.... Even though his character is the "main" one... You focus on better characters(actors) instead... Well... I do.
 
Season 2 finale.... :( That sucks... I WANT SEASON 3 NOW!

I liked the ending though! (from 7:44 onwards in this video lol) this screen doesn't do it justice... but in full HD in 50" of wholesome goodness lol that last part with the angels was like woah!

overall a great and funny episode from start to finish!
