what would you do or do you do to make the world a better place, assuming of course that you want the world to be a better placce ?

Honesty is a good place to begin.
I suggest it and I practice it.

"No legacy is so rich as honesty" [William Shakespeare All's Well That Ends Well]

completely off the cuff, it came to me as I read the question...no thought involved...

Create a reality whereby no one can control anthing beyond the length of their arm.

Whatever you walk away from is the worlds to use.

Money, housing, food, land, beds, bicycles, cars etc.

In my minds eye the greedy would be weighted down by their possessions and starve.

Make every road lane twice as wide, widen the trucks, and triple-widen the railways. Life will flow through the earth like never before. Invest in this huge public infrastructure such as has never been seen before, and you will make the world a better place.

Give people.......... any people you see today a hug.

(although you would probably get locked up!!)

Call each other Brother or Sister.......cement in our minds that we are from one family, doesnt matter what you call it.

Developed countries should give up their attitude of greed, vanity, jealousy and envy, stop trying to get the best of the world's resources and share more of what they have. They should stop complaining about trade deficits and lost jobs and start looking after the poor and needy in their own community. They should stop obsessing over home ownership and mortgages. Ditch your wealth creation dreams. When they start doing that, lost jobs and trade deficits won't matter anymore because everyone gets what they need.

When your society is dominated by greed, vanity, jealousy and envy, nothing will ever be enough. The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer.

People in developed countries need to give up some of their good life and let those in developing countries have more of it. It may lead to a shift in economic, political and military power, but isn't what you believe in more important than who has the sword or the money?

I say that those who live by the money die by the money.

so do you think the inequality in the world is entirely the fault of developed countries ?

"It is easier to fight for one's priciples than to live up to them" - Alfred Adler

Everyone should be made to live up to their principles.

Everyone should only be given what they need, not what they want. This would surely redistribute food and wealth?

Give everyone the heads up concerning their prepaid treasury accounts which have been bought with their Birth Certificates (valuable tokens)..... worth billions.
They are on file at the DTCC.

Oh come on, nothin bout kittens or ferrets?

Can I vote for the kittens please ... if everyone had to hug a kitten every day we would all be so full of cute we would never do wrong to others (either that or we would be too busy dealing with our wounds lol)

lol, and you know me Phyllis... how about treat everyone the way THEY want to be treated.

:kitty:s and ferrets are a part of everybody, although equating furred purrsons with humans demeans the furred purrsons.

I won't mention how some of the humans I've met/known wanted to be treated (you won't be able to keep your breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack/whatever down.)

Given that there is enough resources to feed the planet yet in 2010 people still die of starvation, whats the solution to this Soviet Communism failed despite promising much, Western Capitalism wont do that because exploitations makes profit, Islam has failed as the oil rich nations spend their money on mercedez benz and russian whores, so whats next do you reckon ?
