The Best of all Beliefs!

Exactly we have a golden rules thread... and it is lengthy...
e 'beyond the boundaries of religion and organised belief'
I am looking for quotes that while in scripture of a particlar religion would make anyone nod in agreement, no matter what religion they were or if they were beyond the boundaries...

So it can be a quote by Jesus or Moses or... but not require a devotion to X in its words....

1.). By the passing of time,
2.). Indeed humankind is in a state of loss;
3.). Except those who have faith, and do good deeds; and encourage each other towards truth, and encourage each other towards patience.

(Surah 103 - Quran)

Ah ... something anodyne ...

A few spiritual quips 'beyond the boundaries of religion and organized belief' from my own shelf:

"For your body, you are the owner.
As to your soul, that's just a loaner.
So refrain from sinful ambition.
And return it in good condition."

"Labeling those ignorant who do not share your views or perspective, may just earn you the title instead...."

"Jumping into the sea to save a drowning man, while certainly noble, benefits no one if you can not yourself swim...."

Aisha reported: The Prophet (saww) said, "Indeed, kindness is not found in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2594

Brahma, progenitor of all the demigods said:

"I worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Govinda [Krishna],
who is the original person—absolute, infallible, without beginning,
although expanded into unlimited forms, still the same original,
the oldest, and the person always appearing as a fresh youth.
Such eternal, blissful, all-knowing forms of the Lord are usually
understood by the best Vedic scholars, but they are always
manifest to pure, unalloyed devotees."
(Brahma-samhita 5.33)

Tao Te Ching, 13

Accept disgrace willingly.
Accept misfortune as the human condition.

What do you mean by "Accept disgrace willingly"?
Accept being unimportant.
Do not be concerned with loss or gain.
This is called "accepting disgrace willingly."

What do you mean by "Accept misfortune as the human condition"?
Misfortune comes from having a body.
Without a body, how could there be misfortune?

Surrender yourself humbly; then you can be trusted to care for all things.
Love the world as your own self; then you can truly care for all things.
