Just as your God does notcare about me, I too do not care about your God.Im sorry. I have absolutely no need to prove anything to you. If you dont believe then thats on you. God doesnt need to prove anything to you either. Have a nice life. Im not going to engage with you anymore because you are disrespectful and i feel like you find enjoyment tearing down others beliefs.
Im mourning the death of Charlie Kirk right now and he was just made victim of someone that didnt like what he believed. I cant even talk about him here because everyone saw him as a political figure when i saw him as a man of strong Christian faith who was a father and a husband.
Please don't imply that members are lying, as that's likely to be perceived as a personal attack. You want us to believe in fake stories?
Many believe their stories, but many know them to be wrong but would still stick to them for reasons other than truth. Please don't imply that members are lying, as that's likely to be perceived as a personal attack.
Maybe you can explain to me through science how my father in law came back to life?
Me? Or the doctors who examined him?
Where would I get more information than they provided you with?
I'm sorry you are being trivialized.
You want us to believe in fake stories?
You want is to believe our stories are fake .
To be fair to everyone, when it comes to the stories referred to here, whatever information those stories may contain, forum members do not have enough information to offer real feedback.Simple. Give us evidence.
I am crushed by this news.....he was a warrior for Christ.Im mourning the death of Charlie Kirk right now
It's interesting in how your faith in there being no God is just as strong as some people who have faith there is a God.Just as your God does notcare about me, I too do not care about your God.
I agree, and I over react. I should tone down, whether the stories are correct or not. :sheep face:Saying the stories are fake is too harsh as we on the forum don't have enough information to say so, and to be upset about skepticism isn't fair either for the same reason.
Yeah, it is very strong that everything that exists in the universe arose from the ionic plasma which existed at the time of Big Bang. So humans, animals, vegetation and non-living substances, all arise from the same, without any exception. It's interesting in how your faith in there being no God is just as strong as some people who have faith there is a God.
Your faith is very strong.![]()

Just for the sake of scientific exactitude, ionic plasma did not exist at the time of the Big Bang, but came into existence as a result of it.Yeah, it is very strong that everything that exists in the universe arose from the ionic plasma which existed at the time of Big Bang.
No issue with that ... except for the postulate God, about which cosmological physics has nothing to say.So humans, animals, vegetation and non-living substances, all arise from the same, without any exception.
Well that's your version of it.That is non-dual Hinduism, 'Advaita'.
We know only from the time of inflation.Just for the sake of scientific exactitude, ionic plasma did not exist at the time of the Big Bang, but came into existence as a result of it.

And I agree with that, as Absolute Truth is beyond all human comprehension – God is our best understanding of it, but that does not mean there is a disconnect between God and "Absolute Truth", as both later terms 'absolute' and 'truth' are categories, whereas God transcends all categories, so is in some senses the better term. That is true, but Adi Sankara said that "Ishwara" (God) exists only in the pragmatic world (Vyavaharika Satya); and not as an "Absolute Truth" (Parmarthika Satya).
the baker's mother, in her womb, for 9 months. If a baker baked a cake, who baked the baker?
Sankara dissociated God with 'Absolute Truth'. Absolute truth is beyond God. He said God is for the material world.
My motive is to tarpedo false beliefs of theists with which they fool people.I realize Aup can speak for himself.... but I just point out, only he knows his own motives.
To what end?My motive is to tarpedo false beliefs of theists with which they fool people.
I mean I understand challenging faulty or dubious ideas in the interest of not being fooled... Is that what you mean?My motive is to tarpedo false beliefs of theists with which they fool people.
Then may I suggest you're going the wrong way about it.My motive is to tarpedo false beliefs of theists with which they fool people.
The Christian Apophatic Tradition says broadly the same thing. Eckhart says the same thing.Sankara dissociated God with 'Absolute Truth'. Absolute truth is beyond God. He said God is for the material world.
Eradication of superstition, bring scientific view to the fore.To what end?
Yes.I mean I understand challenging faulty or dubious ideas in the interest of not being fooled... Is that what you mean?
Reason and torpedo. Are they different? On a forum, reason is the torpedo. Then may I suggest you're going the wrong way about it.
Reasoned discourse is the way forward, not simply declaring it false or myth or whatever ... that's not a torpedo, that's just static.
