I am new to this particular forum and thought I'd give brief introduction about who and what I am :). But I also hate introductions and never know what to say, so here it goes.

I have decided to try out a new place to discuss religion and religious topics with people and think I recognize a few screen names here and there from other boards. I am a Pagan Polytheist, and Animist, who titles themselves as a Druid. I am currently a member of the Druidic organization Ár nDraíocht Feín.

Other things about me are that I am an avid forager, and enjoy cooking, canning and preserving.

And I think I'll cut it here. Yours, under the trees.

I'm eclectic in my philosophy and not involved with any organisation, but I do identify more with my Welsh druidic heritage than anything else. Good to see our numbers growing on here, let's hope it's indicative of a global trend ;)

I joined recently too and found all kinds of friends from the other forum. I am not that familiar with this site but I enjoy learning from both.

You are most welcome in the forum, @The Hammer. It is good that you enjoy cooking, I limit myself to enjoy eating since I have too many ideas in the kitchen which my wife does not like. Therefore, I am kept out of the kitchen. She is averse to experimenting.

"Druid", the word is so close to what we use in India - "Dravida" (that is how people of West and South India are believed to be), which make me think that there is a relationship. It is how the Indo-Aryans named them, Dravida is speculated to mean "who know the three" (Tri+Vid, three knowing). I do not know what are those three.
