Religion in the news...

In an effort to help Steve cull articles to update IOs news section... And due to our "watching headlines" thread forbids religious articles. I am starting this thread as a depository for articles we find regarding religion...in the news.

If you wanna start a discussion on any of these topics...start a new thread...that way when folks see the news article on our front page....they can also find the discussion in the forum...

I would like to point out that that site is not impartial. I don't disagree with anything particular in that article but if the site is to be used as a source it should be looked closely at first. "Why Are “Moderates” so Reluctant to Criticize Religion?", in 'Letter from our Chairman' the Vatican is vilified and in "The Struggle For Europe" on Islam in Europe (the author of witch is likened to Newton, Darwin, Einstein and Freud on the site).

I like this idea, as well, as I get the backend of the site ready to update news stories. Thanks for doing this, wil.

I also very much agree with what ACOT's point. We need to hold ourselves to a high level of credibility when we're updating the news section.

yes that was the intent, community involvement...news from all faiths around the globe.

Make it easy for the bot fighter to keep some front pages upto date.
