Acts 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Acts 3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

Lamb's blood on the door of every house of Israel, so that the Angel of death would see the mark and leave the first born males of that house alone. Interesting to note that an egyptian house was spared as well, because a Hebrew also applied blood to that house's door in order to spare the oldest son of that home. It was done without the egyptian family's knowledge. (at least that is what I remember reading). ;)
