Another thing that I just thought of... If I were not born now, but I were born in your perfect paradise world? What then? How many of those children will accept god? Will you kill the youth that doesn't? Because your paradise wouldn't be a paradise with people using their free will now would it? This war of Satan wouldn't end.... You can't MAKE people accept god right? Sooooo... ??

There are too many holes in the paradise Earth way of thinking... And the filling of the Earth that doesn't cut it either... Put a glass half full under a slowly dripping tap... Each drip adds to the glass... Eventually... That glass is over flowing.... Being perfect and all there is no death... So like what, would you kill to make space.... Killing :O an evil Satanic thing!

Personally, I couldn't give a rat's behind about what you do either, that is on you. I think you will find it is not I that is reporting or complaining, you are entitled to your views; however demented, tortured and foolish I may think those views to be.

But there is the point of decorum and manners. This is, afterall, the Christianity board. I hardly think one should be surprised or offended at the chastisement received when disrespecting Christians on the Christian board.

You know, kinda like disrespecting military members to their face about serving their countries...something like that, you know? ;) It's just not considered polite.

remember that in the paradise earth satan and his influence will not be around . they will be in the abyss for a thousand years, and finaly they will be destroyed ,not by people but by God . remember that Gods people are not taught war or how to kill ,they are only taught peace. this opposition from satan , is ongoing NOW . and the purpose of God is to break up the works of the devil. and he will . and yes you are right , noone can make someone accept God . and remember it is only Jehovah and Jesus christ that can read hearts. as for the overflowing glass, Gods original purpose was to FILL THE EARTH who knows what he has in store after that . think of all those other planets that he could use . but the ISSUE OF UNIVERSAL SOVEREIGNTY is going on on this planet at the momment and once it is settled it will be a touchstone it will never happen again.
what happens to Satan will serve, for all eternity, as a touchstone on the issue of the rightness and righteousness of Jehovah’s rule. That issue of sovereign rulership will have been settled once and for all time. Never again will a challenge to Jehovah’s sovereignty need to be tested over an extended period of time in order to be proved wrong.

it seems that Eve needed the influence of satan before she decided to eat the fruit. it was the original serpent who put the thought into her head to eat what God had said was not hers to eat. make no mistake about it satan has great influence ................. you say what about when the planet is full ,if we dont go along with Jehovahs purpose for the earth NOW we will never know, because Jehovah only blesses those who are willing to go along with his purpose. but make no mistake about it , those who are willing to endure and remain faithful in this system of things we have now, will get to be blessed in the future not only spiritually but also physically. there will be no boredom in Gods purpose only great blessings . but at this point in time the purpose is to go along with Gods purpose and work inline with it . matthew 24;14 matthew 28;19-20

Satan.. One of the angels... Decided from free will to mess things up... Another angel could do the same if they so wished, as could the human... How long do you think it would take if you put a bright red button that said "do not push" in a public area for someone to eventually press that button? It just takes some time, free will and curiosity...
 
I think satan and the divine is within our own mind. If we are good ,we become godlike , if we become evil we become satanic.

I think we should take responsibility for our own actions and stop blaming the poor guy for everything.

here are some statistics for the UK:

Murder rate per million population: 1900 - 9.6 which decreased to a low point around 1960 with 6.2 since which it has steadily increased to a high in 1995 of 14.5. Which means that there are around 50% more murders now in UK than in 1900.

Indictable offences rose from around 6 per 1000 population in 1900 to 110 per 1000 in 1990

Prison population has gone from 20,000 to over 80,000 in same time.

Total population has grown from 40m to 60m over same period with almost all that growth taking place before 1940. Since then UK population has remained fairly static. Most of the increases in crime have taken place since the 1960's.

These statistics tho showing a trend toward increased crime do not factor in increased reporting and detection. And it is worth noting that in 1800 the murder rate was somewhere close to 35 per million population.

I would agree with you despite these figures I presented here that overal there is a slight decline in the liklihood of meeting a violent end. But, and its a BIG BUT, I see this as a very precarious time. What if China becomes expansionist? What will India do with its new wealth? How will the US react to a militarised Socialist Union of the South Americas? The future is far from certain to be moving steadily to a more peaceful era.

In your stats if you only indicated 1900-2000 it looks terrible, but if we looked at 1800 to 2000 it looks great! I appreciate how you indicated that reporting statistics were not included...what you did was look at the numbers and compared them....let the cards fall where they may and that is valuable.

The problem I see with those incarcerated...if it is anything like the US they are largely drug offences...or crimes due to drug offences. I don't know the solution to that, we've created that problem by declaring war on drugs...it wasn't an issue till we made it illegal...prohibition creates nightmares.

I think that choice is upto us. If we continue to see things being worse, we'll get our wish... If it is to be it begins with me. Be the change you wish to see in the world...

In all cases it does not have to do with what is going on in China, South America, Iraq or the Congo...it has to do with us...personally, our choices. We can complain that one person can't do anything...tell it to MLK, Ghandi, Mother Theresa....one person can choose to do whatever one is willing to do...or one can sit around and complain that it is all so terrible...and nothing can be done...either way they are right.

They say you say oh in 20XX there was this much crime! but not in 20XX there is no crime!! Only peace! Now that... That would be great.
