what is God's purpose?

We are all responsible for our souls .. eventually they return to whence they came, of which we have little knowledge.
You have 'little knowledge' of God or soul, but you believe and it does not ever occur to you that you should check this belief? Why do you believe without any vidence?

I have been a Muslim for over 40 years .. do you not think that I "check" what I believe constantly?
I do. :)

Maybe I am weak in this regard, because I might become misguided due to "thinking out of the box"
I'm not happy with biindly following a majority .. never have been .. I want to know all the "ins and outs"
..much like you, really.

I am very happy how G-d has blessed my life, discovering Islam in my early 20's.

"G-d is pleased with them, and they are pleased with G-d. This is for those who fear their Lord"
Al-Qur'an

God's purpose: I think I have an answer to the nature of God's purpose; God's purpose is being God

..I didn't say I was happy.
I said that I'm happy with G-d.

There are 1000's of unhappy people in the world. The world is oppressive.
..no, it's not the world that is oppresive .. it's people with their agendas.
"we" all want more & more .. and often blame the poor for being lazy etc.

G-d sees all.

I do not desire anything and accept what comes to me on its own, good or bad. I was not happy with God, especially the idea that there is only one which someone sells.

Selling God? Yes some people do, ultimately it is our choice what we believe.

Do we respect other souls?
What do we respect them for?
Their wealth? Their youth and strength?
..or maybe their honesty?

We all have varying agendas .. but be sure, the sequel is for the humble, who love righteousness.

Anybody got any Scripture Jewish Christian Hindu that describes God's purpose?
Just his wish, if you ask the Vaishnavas (worshipers of Lord Vishnu and Krishna). The books say 'Ekoham bahusyama' (I am one, I will be many).

But in non-duality (a strict version of Advaita which I go by), even creation is not accepted other than as an illusion, therefore, no question of a purpose.
Advaita punctures all beliefs - God, creation, soul, birth, death, reincarnation, heaven, hell, judgment or deliverance.
What alone is accepted is the existence of Brahman, the substrate which has resulted in all illusions mentioned above.
"Brahma satym jagan-mithya .." (Brahman is truth, the perceived is false).

Well how do you perceive a rock? a mountain, barriers in a rushing creek or stream, By this rock I will build my church, Peter was that rock. Rock & Roll is a type of music genre. Rock is as you have it to be.
