    You reminded me of something...

"The Great Being saith: The Tongue of Wisdom proclaimeth: He that hath Me not is bereft of all things. Turn ye away from all that is on earth and seek none else but Me. I am the Sun of Wisdom and the Ocean of Knowledge. I cheer the faint and revive the dead. I am the guiding Light that illumineth the way. I am the royal Falcon on the arm of the Almighty. I unfold the drooping wings of every broken bird and start it on its flight." -Baha'u'llah

YOU yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, that I might carry YOU on wings of eagles and bring YOU to myself. ..........exodus 19;4

Just as an eagle stirs up its nest,
    Hovers over its fledglings,
Spreads out its wings, takes them,
Carries them on its pinions, Deut 32;11

this one started out pretty good though I see how quickly a couple of different birds got ruffled & plucked themselves away. There must be many birds & not just one or two then.

The OP reminds me of a peacock because of the color.

    Hi Bandit,

Seems like you've been going through many changes too since way back when we used to exchange words and differences...... nice to see you around. :)

hey Ceil, we are closer than I ever thought we were.
How I ever dealt with the thickness of some of that other I will never know:)

I really enjoyed your reply on the beetles tune with krishna because that is exactly the way it went. EXACTLY, & I could never figure out how to explain it that well so I was thrilled to read it. That was a long time coming for me:)

It also reminds me of another metaphor. The frog in boiling water...
