lmao!!! I'm flattered, flattered!!!

In reality, I drive a Chevy Cavalier, base model, with a big freakin' dent, and could never skate very well. Mostly, though, I walk.

Ha! My partner loves the smart cars. Yet we both think they are a bit dangerous... at least until all the SUVs get off the road--and even then, you'd have to watch out for 18-wheelers. Hell, I used to drive a VW bug, and there were times where I was almost blown off the road as a tractor trailer passed me! Imagine what highway driving would be like in a smart car. Scary business.

close you guys. Why does everyone htink I'd drive a family car. aaaaaah its because I do. !!!!! 99 Holden VT commodore. I dunno if you lot even have that type over there. But what I really want is a Chrysler PT Cruiser. OH they are soooooooo sexy. They kinda of remind me of an affordable version of the car in ZZtop film clips. Oh, now I'm probably showing my age. lol Love the Grey

I'd love one! Bright green, please? With some "ricki ticki sticki" flowers on it?

Actually, I haven't driven in almost two years, but the last time I did was in a white 1998 GMC Sierra pickup truck fondly dubbed "Trigger". Before that was a '91 charcoal grey Thunderbird, but my favorite I have ever owned was my 1967 metallic blue Mustang with a white vinyl top. Her name was "The Dove".

Then there was that ski boat I used to pilot. :)

Q: Two Black motorcycles, one classic, one custom (on two wheels most of the time). The "classic" is for runs exceeding 1000 km, while the custom is for fun jaunts around the country lanes. A White Ford Ranger Edge (ute) which is my work horse and get to work ride, a PT Cruiser (which I gave to my son to start his family in a safe ride, a Rav-4 (which I gave my other son to start his family in a safe ride...different environment), and a 2007 Mustang GT 500, which I hate with a passion, and gave to my ex-wife (along with all the headaches and costly insurance and gas guzzling that goes with it). Each got what they wanted, most got what they needed. But I own and drove them all, and I'm content.

soooo i was right about the ute. wrong colour. eerie about the pt,though.

Naw, it was a good car for a teen in 2003, and a young family in 2007. Lots of room and safety features. I'm pragmatic (it is gold in color, so I splurged a bit) lol.

A pickup (ute), is just that, a work horse and haul around. White is the easiest color to match and maintain (practical), BUT, it does have a 250 hp v6 under the hood, and slip differential in the drive train, and it can plow four feet of new snow with chains on only the two rear tires.

The RAV-4 is ideal for Alaska, so the kid never gets in a jamb, since the weight and drive train is over the front wheels. They are oversized and the engine is one of Japan's finest as far as compression to weight ratio. ergo, he nor his wife has ever gotten stuck in a snow drift.

The Mustang, I should never have bought. It isn't me, and it isn't worth the cost of the upkeep. but I did it anyway for love.

I never had in mind the weather conditions would factor in. here it just doesnt matter. Its all about the looks baby! hahahhaha . Here a pt cruiser is a luxury car and for you guys its a teens car???????? Things are different i guess. A new pt is about $35 ooo here. and no on e is selling them 2nd hand. They are hanging on to them. My first car, which I ownd with my dad was a 1964(?) EH HOLDEN wagon. It had been garaged all its life and the original owner passed away it was put under cover for about 15years. The little old lady was moving into a retirement home and was selling everything. We bought it for $350. As I was only 15 dad drove it and then I moved out of home and I dont know what happened to the car. so sad. If i ever see another one for sale i'd buy it. now of course they are collectors items. aaaargh........

They never recaptured "the magic". Like old wine in....never mind. ;):D The Mustang automobile was a beautiful thing in its day, but that is a time gone by. Almost kind of like its wild namesake....

Mustangs COMMAND respect.... *nods*
While I had friends that had '67s and '72s awesome cars...

if I were a musclehead I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a cobra or shelby today...all the power, grace and style of the old cars...loaded with today's amenities.... I rent'em every now and again on travel....and was recently in a restored one....while I wouldn't mind having one of the old ones in a garage to sit and look at with a doppel spaten in my hand and walk down memory lane...if I were to drive across country in one...it would be the new one.

Muscle cars and motorcycles....yet another thing I won't get involved in until my children have families....no need to encourage that behaviour...whatta fuddy duddy..

No sorry, before Egypt I had a BMW but sold it before I went. In Egypt I take taxi's and I just pray a lot. Really you take your life in your hands every time you step off a pavement over there. Although I used to have a yellow MGB sportscar, it was such fun.

MW: Rover.... Estate. [know what they say aboot rover drivers.... ;)]

No I don't, maybe you better PM me what they say. I have had a Volvo estate or two but you have to when you have so many animals.

I can't imagine what anyone drives so I thought my list would be what people would drive in their hearts:

Grey - a unicorn

Wil - an eagle

17th - a dragon

Tao - a black hanovarian warmblood stallion

Flow - a white tiger

Q - a dinoseur

InLove - a dove

Snoopy - an orangutan

Pathless - an ostrich, just for the fun of it

BB - ram

Francis - dolphin

Cyberpi - polar bear

I have no idea why I think any of the above, they are just the animals I think of associated with the people.

Hi MW...Salaam my dear.

White tiger eh ? Inspiring. Actually my first auto was a 1959 British Racing Green MGA coupe'. Loved that car. I even won a couple of road rallys whilst in college...pip, pip...tally ho !

Then I got married and first had a couple of VW bugs, then a variety of Fords, a couple of Audi sedans before they were considered chic, then more Fords, then a Chevy pickup, and now a used Saturn.

And you my dear I see you sitting astride a great snow-white swan (I almost wrote shark ) and then just flying and swimming to wherever you wish, whenever you wish to, for I believe that is your nature.

Oh...and I'd so much enjoy seeing a lionfish astride an orangutan's shoulder, swinging from branch to branch in the tropics.

flow....;)
