one thing that religion is not doing is sticking to the bible and what it really teaches . the bible is Gods letter to man .:)

2 timothy3 16-17 its good to know that Jehovahs witnesses have the bible as their aurthority.

lets get back to what the bible REALLY teaches, then we are inline with the pure words of God .:) and i have found the ones who are doing things the right way .it is JEHOVAHS WITNESSES . and it is VERY GOOD

My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

yes psalm 22 all about Jesus .



About the ninth hour Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying: "E´li, E´li, la´ma sa·bach·tha´ni?" that is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
matthew 27;46 yes he was saying MY GOD thats because he isnt God he is GODS SON .


This is why the Father loves me, because I surrender my soul, in order that I may receive it again. John 10;17

Considering that this is a forum of dialogue and comparrison, and not one of chastizment and condemnation, I'd say you are not being very good at all. I'd also say you have picked the wrong place to admonish anyone for not believing as you do.

The OP wasn't about your debates about the divinity of Jesus, hell, the trinity, etc.

We have threads on that that are very recent. Please go post your comments on them. Please do not derail other topics to shoving JW arguments on everyone. We are all aware at this point of the differences between JW doctrine and the rest of Christian denominations. No need to keep force-feeding everyone. Even Jesus didn't do that-- he said to offer, and if people don't want to listen, shake the dust from that town and move on.

I think it's time you shake off the dust and move on. It's clear you are proselytizing and making every thread into an excuse to post a JW link and your couple of issues and it is really getting old.

very true, it was about psalms i like that one in psalm 22 about Jesus and the way it links in with matthew, when Jesus was on deaths door and praying to his God and father

When Jesus cried out: "My God, my God, why have you deserted me?" he surely did not believe that he himself was God

In Bible times, kissing was an expression of friendship and faithfulness.

It was a way to welcome guests.
The kings of the earth are commanded to kiss the Son—that is, welcome him as the Messianic King.

when he said what he said, not being God is not what he meant, he wasn't saying that. Jesus being part of Elohim from eternity, He is the Word of God, he is YHWH. He has a special relationship with the Father, as the bible puts it for our understanding, he is in the bosom of the Father. As the Christ gave himself to die for our sins, he took on our sin and became sin, and in doing so the Father looked away. It is this feeling of being God with the Father in heaven at one point, then having his relationship with the Father seperated by sin and being put to death in such a excruciating way as he called out to Him is what was extremely painful for Christ, and is why he said what he said. Ultimately, he is the Saviour because of what he did on the cross for us.
 
I suppose if my aim were to convince my neighbor that he is NOT a Son of God, nor a Brother, Mother, or Sister of Jesus, and that he thus has NO relationship with God whatsoever then I would tell him that Jesus was the ONLY Son of God and that Jesus is also the ONE and ONLY God, the Father. But then I would be a hateful despiteful liar to my neighbor... because he also has a relationship with God whether he sees it or not, whether he sins or not, whether he denies it or not, whether he is lost or found, and whether it is realized now or in the future. In fact according to the gospels Jesus prayed to and taught his followers to pray to God, "Our Father...". He did not teach others to pray to him, "Our Jesus..."
